Rider Account Holders

All Bide riders must have an active Bide account at all times to use Bide ridesharing services. Each rider must have their own account. Account sharing is not allowed. Never let anyone use your account. Doing so may result in your account being suspended by Bide. Always keep your login information secure and do not share it with anyone.

Policy for Safe Pickup

Bide always provides all of its riders exact information identifying its partner drivers and their vehicles, including their vehicle make, model and color, full name, profile picture, and their license plate number.

Policies for Its Riders

Bide does not allow any other riders other than the requesting rider and the rider's guests in the vehicle. The Bide account holder is responsible for the actions and behavior of their entire party traveling with them at all times.

Policy for Riders Under the Age of 18

Bide requires that all riders must be 18 years of age or older to have a Bide account or to ride unaccompanied in a Bide partner driver vehicle. Adults can not reserve or request a ride for anyone under the age of 18 or allow anyone including their children under 18 years of age to ride alone with Bide. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Bide Mandates the use of Seat Belts

Seat belt use has been shown to be the most effective way to save lives and reduce injuries related to car accidents. Every Bide partner driver and rider including those in the back seat must buckle up at all times. Riders must request a car that has enough seat belts for everyone in their traveling party, and Bide partner drivers will decline a ride if there are not enough seat belts for every rider in their car.

Use of Recording Devices Like Cameras or Other Video or Audio Equipment

Drivers may choose to install and use video cameras, dash cameras, or other recording devices for the purpose of transporting Bide riders.

Policy for Its Partner Drivers

All Bide partner drivers must maintain their vehicles to safe operating conditions at all times including seat belts, tires and brakes in good operating condition, according to nationwide industry safety and maintenance standards. Drivers may not pickup riders who are under 18 years of age that are not accompanied by an adult. If Drivers are not sure if a rider is over 18 they must ask for legal, valid identification. If no legal valid identification is produced, driver must refuse to transport said passenger(s) Riders will be reminded at the time of booking their transportation of Bides over 18 policy. Always be courteous, share the road and obey all local, state and federal traffic and safety laws.
